ok i have 1990 civic dx with a 1989 zc motor, my problem is i went to go start my car today and it wont turn on , battery is fine every thing works inside the interior,headlights, yesterday i gave the car run reaching around 6500 rpm dont usally take it up that high and i filled up after , does any body have any ideas why the car wont turn over. Thanks

 

any body ? like when i turn the key to start it , i dont hear anything at all

First off, check All the fuses.. then check for codes on the ecu.. loose grounds? worst thing I can think of is a damaged dizzy which aint cheap.

 

Neutral safety switch or possibly starter

 

well heres what happend , the rubber floor mat, it pushed it's way up, and as i was engaging the clucth i guess it was blocking the neutral safety switch thanks jebb18 and maxcapacity
