Where do you guys buy Honda replacement parts?
hi,
I've had bad experience with an online retailer.
Therefore, I was wondering where you guys are buying your parts?
I need new front axles. Also, can I sell my old axles? My axles out there are restored, which makes me wonder if someone would buy them back.
Thank You

I replaced my axle with ones from Autozone and Kragen. Though I prefer the one from Kragen as it looks of a higher quality for some reason.
If you think your axle is still in good condition, post it up... But highly doubt anyone will buy it though... But most likely you'll be charged for core when you buy the axle, so you need the old ones.

ok, so I found these (Cardone):

I can pick them up at Kragen. So that's good. Also, they are supposed to be better than my old ones. The funny thinh is that they charge you $60 for the core, but they offer the same model without core for only $5
I know there is a difference between manual and automatic transmission. But what about with ABS and without ABS? Some axles differentiate, other don't.

I always check ebay first, I kicked myself in the a$$ when I bought a rad for $200 when the same one was on ebay for $50.
I just bought OBX iridium plugs and 10.3 mm wires for cheaper than a terrible set of neihoffs and ngk v's. (at local outlet: ngl v-powers are $35 and wires are over $50.
I haven't dealt much with online auto stores, but I know ebay has a lot of gear for honda's.

Seriously, get one from local. If you mess up or anything, or there's a problem, at least you can go to the store and ask...
Anyways, there is a diff between the ABS and non. The only difference is that the axles that are ABS compatiible have a ring around them so that the ABS sensor can read them. Usually the rings are detachable but just incase, try to get as specific as possible.
I think I bought the same axle for my passenger side? Anyways so far, pretty good. Lifetime warranty? Why nots go ahead.

I'm kinda suspicious about the lifetime warranty. What is exactly covered by that warranty? Does that mean that I will never have to buy axles again, because once they wear out I just return them under the warranty?

I wouldn't be suspicious, they are lifetime warrantied.
i've done it plenty of time.
good luck.

Raxles, their replacement axles are awesome. Since I live in Hawaii, they don't require me to send the core back, but they do charge me slightly higher.

Lifetime warranty means that you get one free replacement when they go out again.

huh??? lifetime means one replacement? Where is this at because thats crap. If someone is going to advertise "lifetime" warranty then it better be warrantied for lifetime no matter how many you go through. Otherwise it should be listed as "one free replacement" warranty.
