i use to have a name one here as civicgen3 or 3gencivic but i cant remmber and dont remmber the password, so i made a new one. neways i just bought myself another 86 crx si, my old onw got totaled 3 years ago, so ive been looking for one seen. got it for 200 running and driving, in really bad body, and lots of oil leaks, but it will do for a dd tell my turbo 89hatch gets done this fall, but enough stories, the only problem im having is finding a new core support for it, i found one for a 85 but not sure if it will fit, please need some help on finding the right body parts since there beginning to not make them any more. if u know of, or it will fit, or if u know a please i can get one let me know i hit driving around my town nothing but two headlights, looks really funny here in louisville.

Did you try asking the dealer if the part numbers were the same for 85 and 86? If so, then yes it would fit. Welcome to the "you'll never find parts for your old Honda" club.

 

85 is slightly different due to the recessed headlights. it will work, it just may need a little modification.

cool thanks, yea honda cant even pull up the part anymore, so they didnt know and the site i found it, didnt even had one for the 86, but thanks guys
