Oem Oil Filter

I was just given a couple of Honda OEM oil filters which were meant for a 95 Civic EX. A few people has told me its the same filter that can be used on any B series motor. Is this true?

yeah honda makes 2 universal fit oil filters, the smaller ones are for civics and tegs and the bigger ones are for accords, ludes, odysseys and other cars with a bigger motor.
