I'm a little late getting this thread started this year because i've been really busy, sorry guys

this years edition of the ITR meet is going to consist of standing and more standing and shooting the **** at the beach

I'm gonna combine this years ITR summer meet along with the S2Ki meet that my brother is organizing. I believe they are bringing out a BBQ for it so no more standing around talking about being hungry

We can still have a cruise if there is enough interest, but i'm done for the cruising cause my motor spun a bearing last week and I'll be rocking a B20b till i can come up with some funds to build my dream street motor

so lets continue this tradition and lets come out in record numbers this year!
its time to meet some old faces and new and shoot the **** once more

btw, RagingAngel what happen to your engine??
my itr is sitting on jack stands with no engine as well because the built engine blew up last oct. ...

too much abuse..not enough maintenance led to massive oil consumption. I'm talking about three 20minute sessions and I went through 8 liters of oil....!

I thought it would be a good time to take it apart to see what was up...haha. Leaky *** valve seals and a few surface nicks on cylinder number 2 was all she wrote...

I'm in the same club, I have to pull my motor this weekend and toss in a B20 till i have enough money to build an even better motor

 

This is more along the lines of alex's 4th annual motor build. . . . .

Hey guys,

I'm a fairly new ITR owner, as well as a fairly new member here on honda-tech. I was unable to attend last year's meet because I was out of town attending summerschool, and this year, I unfortunately do not have my type R with me here in vancouver. However, I've been wanting to meet fellow ITR owners for a while, and get to know the ITR community here in vancouver.

I was wondering whether I should bother showing up on that day, since I don't have my car here, or whether I could meet you guys some other time. I am a little disappointed that I may have to miss out again, but please let me know.

 

I'm in y0 . I'll wait until winter for my motor build

I apologize in advance for being so suspect of your innocent intentions... but I'd really hate to hear about how any ITR got stolen after the meet - as we all know thieves lurk here.

Did you by chance pick up Dave and Daniel's ITR? I seem to recall them selling it to their cousin, which I assume would be you...?

I fully understand your concern, as I myself know all too well how our cars are prone to theft.

But yes!, I am in fact Dave and Daniel's cousin. I didn't buy his ITR though, I found one of my own. He just recently sold his to another person. How do you know them? I'll PM you..

I've been good. Busy at work. Living super dangerous, the usual. Every once and a while I really miss the sound of that turbo-r spoolin up. Has the new owner been active in the forum?
