do you get voltage at the connector at the fuel gauge sensor? (under the rear cargo box)

if you do not get voltage at that connector as soon as you turn the key to RUN then check your jumper connector.
I have seen this often cause no pumping.

the jumper connector is taped up in the harness just to the left of the clutch pedal.
it is brownish orange and flat (20pin I think). take it off and make sure it is clean. you may need to connect/disconnect a few times to get it clean

NOTE:
This is not an in-line connector, it is a connector with a cap on it. The cap completes the circuit for alot of different areas.
in the schematics it is C403 (pic 35 in the helms manuals)

This connector will catch moisture and corrode. Since it is at the center of alot of circuits, any poor connection will soon be a problem and with the age CRX's have on them it is not surprising that some will be tired
