i bought a 88-89 ukdm/jdm guage cluster a couple years back and am finally getting around to putting it in & im having trouble finding wiring diagrams for the ukdm/jdm cluster. anyone know where i can find the wiring diagram for a 88-89 ukdm/jdm cluster? i know its 88-89 cluster cuz theres no VSS, but im not sure if its a ukdm or a jdm cluster (speedo goes from 0-240kmh & its got the 3 clips, 2 big ones & the lil blue one). any help would be GREATLY appreciated
oh yeah, its going into my 89 civic hatch dx

ukdm cluster is different than jdm. you're bunching them into the same catagory. same goes for the years.
post pictures of the cluster you have and the year car you have. that'll be a start.

ok, so i think i figured it out! LOL!!! heres a close-up on the speed

heres the front of the cluster

and heres the back of the cluster.....yep thats right, no VSS, so i figure its gotta be an '88 or an '89 whether its a ukdm OR a jdm!

so anyone know where i can find a wiring diagram for the plugs for it, and whether or not its a ukdm or a jdm?

That cluster is most definitely NOT a UKDM. As I posted previously, UKDM speedos are in Miles Per Hour, just like the good 'ole US of A. And I'm unsure it's even JDM, though it may be.
To me it looks like it's Canadian, or EDM.

any help on where to find a wiring diagram for it? this was the only thing i could find: http://www.angelfire.com/ca/DrOhm/SiRcluster.html. but there were discrepancies in the euro civic pin numbers. like it doesn't tell you what pin on the euro/canadian civic is for the guage lights, or the guage light dimmers etc. it definitely gave me a good start, and from lookin at the back of the cluster most of it seems to be accurate, i.e. the turn signal pins, the high beam pins. i found that on my cluster pins B8 & B9 are the +12v and ground for the hazard light in the cluster. but like i said, im still short a few pins

Finally got it in!!!!

it took a while cuz the site i was going off of was for a 90-91, and the 88-89 plugs they showed must've been for a CRX, cuz my civic plugs were WAY off!!! thank god the wire colors were still the same!!! also, i must've had a different EDM guage cluster than the one in the link i was going off of cuz a few things were *** backwards and in completely different locations! anyways, its finally in and looks damn good (if u ask me
)!!! LOL!!! just dont ask me to look at the nightmare of a wiring job
