i have hasport mounts. and im buying the complete swap from hondamotors online i think. they have the best warrranty and price ive found.but i need to know will the jdm linkage fit or will it have to be re-welded?? also im going to put a new clutch on my motor so i dont have to worry about it. but i was only going to replace the disk. will a type r clutch work with a cable tranny? or should i just get a b16 clutch?

 

what kind of tranny depends on what kind of integra clutch kit you will need.

don't just buy the clutch.. buy the PP, disc, and throw out bearing because it's the smart thing to do and you don't want to hate yourself later!

the linkages won't work unless modified but if you're going to modify you should use integra linkages... to me it's just worth it to sport the cash for the hasport linkages which, by the way, you can also get form steve at hondamotorsonline.com.

 

why would u have to modify the jdm crx linkage to fit? and also id replace the pressure plate and everything else but my parents are moving to oklohoma and im on my own in 2 weeks and it needs to be done by then and i dont have enough money.maybe i will replace everything except the pp.

 

you get the jdm linkage from steve and match it up to your car when you have everything in. Mine happened to fit good enough to not even mod it. But you may line yours up and mark how much you need off of it, then have it cut and welded back together.

 

I have a JDM linkage in my EF. It's the gold linkage. I believe it's a true SiR. I didn't have to cut, weld...nothing. It fit perfectly. Just got lucky in a pile of junk at a friend's shop. Make sure it's the Gold one though. The others may not fit.

If you get the ef8 shift linkage.. it will work without welding. I have hasport mounts with ef9 linkage in my 91 hatchback and it fits perfect. as for the clutch issue... get a whole kit ( pressure plate, disc, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, clutch alignment tool).

If you plan on modding it i'll give you pre modded one for your jdm linkage. I need un modded ones for my friends project. He is welding a complete front clip onto his car and needs the unmodded ones, the modded ones ended up being too short!!

 

i already bought hasport linkage for 150. anyways now i need a good b series clutch for cheap.

 

When I purchased my JDM SiR linkage, it came in the original honda packaging, bolted right on, no mods at all
