Default Adjusting Spoon Cluster odometer

My mate just got a Spoon cluster for his DC2R !! So jelous

Anyways, he needs to adjust the odometer (kms) to what his car actually has, and as he has spent ALOT on the cluster, doesnt want to break or scratch it in any way

So any tips? PM me if you dont want to post it on public boards

this is very easy to do. but also easy to mess up.

first make sure you get the cluster disassembled properly. make sure your friend takes out the 3 screws that hold the bezel on. tell him not to FORCE anything apart...it should all come apart easily, so if something seems "stuck" it means there is still a screw holding it together.

after he has the speedo removed, contact me and i'll tell you how to adjust it

If it's a newer speedo (98 spec), he'll need to remove the needle.

Id say it would be fairly illegal to NOT adjust it.. goin from DC2R clocks @ 80k ish to 00000ks spoon clocks

But we have photos before and after, and he plans on keeping the teg + possible rebuild on route so its doubtful there will be a next owner...

There is a whole thread in the regular integra section, you also might be able to have spoon do it for you. But the thread is good I did it to my civic for its engine swap.

not illegal if you match the current kms but illegal if you go lower

in my state its also technically illegal to do any modification/alterations to my car. but who really cares, im sure no one here has done something illegal weather it be 70 in a 65 or lower their car too low

and if its a 98 spec you don't need to remove the needle.
