SIR Doors
Hey I just got a pair of CRX SIR doors because the doors on my CRX were rotted out completely. As you probably know these new doors come with power windows & locks which is an upgrade to the existing manual locks & windows.
My question is how would I go about wiring in these new features so that they are functional?
all help would be much appreciated.
thanks

what year is the crx. reason i ask is because the jdm doors have the seat belts pillar mounted as opposed to the 89dx,si and 90-91 which have door mounted seat belts. i have heard and seen the difference between the 2. there is a slight difference in door jams which causes the door to not shut air tight. so, when you're driving down the road you can hear the wind seeping through the crack. i also heard that it starts to rip the weather seal because it is constantly rubbing on the door jams. if you have an 88 or 89 hf i guess you can disregard this post cause those doors are the same as the jdm ones.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to think they all are.

Good luck wiring those as they are a pain in the ***!!! Even if you can find a wiring schematic it will not help, you just have to power them up a 12 volt power source...(So bust out the volt meter) Mine work all of the time as long as the kill switch is not engaged...
As for the JDM doors they followed the same years as the USDM doors did, only the 88's came without seat belts on the doors! I'm lucky!
Best of luck!

canada. I think the cars in canada did not come with the door mounted seatbelts so the wind rushing issue it not there.
as far as wiring. Look at crx resources.org I think they have a wiring diagram to go by.
