Opening the sunroof after the engine is taken out?
I have someone wanting to buy the sunroof off of a 90 crx i'm parting out. The problem is that I've already taken the engine out and there's no power to open the sunroof. Anyone know how to open it? Or if I can take it off without having to open it?
There is a crank to open the sunroof manually in front of the dome light just take off the plug in the headliner. But, if i do recall you dont need to have the sunroof open to take out the whole assembly.

He dosent want to close it, he wants to open it.
He dosent want to close it, he wants to open it.
if it is like mine out of an 88 just take the headliner out and pull the whole assembly out i think there are 10 10mm bolts and one power cord and that is it. mine you dont have to have power.

But yes, the manual crank works also.
