im friends with the head mechanic around here and he thought that a new header would help me much because the one i got is already really good. how much hp do you think a new header would give me?

A really good 2.5" collector header will give more gains than an intake on an R. Low budget? JDM ITR 4-1 header with 2.5" cat. Got money? Toda or spoon or Hytech will give a few more on top of that.

Checkout the Dyno Graph. Find the one that matches your power needs and budget. Just a warning some of the headers have 2.5 inch collector and will not bolt up to the stock cat without some modifications.
