So it's my first project ('94 civic coupe EX) and my cousin (The Tech) wants me to choose which motor i want so he can make the bueprint for me and start it up ASAP..... I'm stuck between a b16b, GSR (b18c), or h2b .. Im looking to do more of Circuit racing instead of 1/4 mile but still want that strong launch. Please post up your recommendations on which you think would best for me . Thank You

ID SAY GO WITH A BUILT H2B OR BUILT GSR... SINCE UR PUTTING IT IN THAT EJ1 CUZ... CIRCUIT RUNNING SHOULD BE FUN HOPE TO SEE U ON MY REAR VIEW WHEN UR CAR IS READY...LOL... THE K24 WITH K20 HEAD EK HATCH IM DOING SHOULD BE READY FOR NEXT SUMMER SO.

 

I would go H2B,the only dissadvantages would be ground clearance and a little more effort for the swap and tight fitment on the drivers side although the 6th gens can still retain ac

 

your never gonna get any real answers through this. Do your research on what would be best for circuit racing. There are plenty of people in the racing forums in which you could do research on setups. When you have tech questions, post them. But this thread has nothing to do with all motor tech and everyone is just going to post their bias opinions.

read, research, get, build, do, and make changes to make the setup better.
