Help me pick my next car!!!!
I'm sure this is going to be the biggest "my car is best" thread, but I'm looking for my next project car. I like the hatch look but EVERYONE has a hatch, are they really that much better than a coupe? I built up a 94 DX Mini-me D16y8 Sedan, it was fun but I want something better. It would be my daily at first, so It would need to get good MPG (mini me got 30 city, 80 freeway) but with plenty of room to build. I want to do a B series swap, but I am open to other engines within reason, not looking to do any V-6 swaps or anything crazy. We have auto-x and drag racing here, and I want to be able to do both with minor changes if any at all. I don't expect to win it all, but it's fun to go out and race

Well, if you are sticking to strictly B swaps, any 92-up would be great. If it were me, i'd only go hatch or coupe on a civic. If i am building a sedan, I'd rather do that with an Accord...but again, that is just me. I've never been a huge fan of the civic sedan. Also remember, at least fro 92-95, hatch and coupe share a lot more body parts so it makes it a tad easier to hunt in a junk/scrap yard if you are going down that route.
Huge EG fan. Not a huge fan of the EK...I would only own a coupe in that gen. I am in the middle of rebuilding a 92 Si hatch. I will be upfront, getting some new parts direct from Honda is getting harder, but not impossible, just takes creativity or calling around.
I am not a fan of the EK hatch rear end..would only do a coupe in the EK generation.
As far as engines, the sky is the limit. B motors are good. A lot of people are making insane numbers on D series too. You can stuff an H22 in. Finally you have K swaps. If you are mostly daily, stick with a B or D series.

LOL yeah... I'll stick with either Honda or Acura. Have you seen the price for a hybrid battery

Honda Beat. The 3-cyl E07A gets pretty good mileage, it sounds awesome and revs to 8.5K, and it's a head turner. Cargo space is...lacking to say the least, lol. I'm sure it's not a bolt in affair, but there have been B-series swapped Beats.

lol yeah... Most cars I could put an aftermarket seat bracket a few inches back and down for my long *** legs (I'm 6'5") but it looks like that car is pretty much maxed out as far as leg space
