now i am buying a 95 ls teg tomorrow..and the car has a spun rod bearing
my question is should i rebuild the motor(witch will coast me about 500-600$ for a full rebuild)or should i buy one of passwordjdms b20s (and know that the motor is in good shape)....oh yeah i have a gsr head so whatever motor i end up with will be vtec......

Yeah definitely, go with a B20 you're gonna love the extra torque and how effortlessly it pulls your car. Considering how inexpensive B20's are now a days I don't see why not. That's the route I plan to take if my B18b ever needs it.
But I see you live in Cali, so you're gonna have to smog under the table and cross your fingers that you don't get rolled and sent to the State Ref. so you don't have to pull your motor out unless you don't mind.
Goodluck
