Default help: power window conversion on 2000 ek

i got a 2000 civic hatch that i would like to convert from a manual window to power and i got all the panels and switches and harness from a 2000 si...is it just straight forward plugging in since there both the same years or what do i need to do....i need help pls...lmk thanks....

isnt it actually easier with a 2000 civic....or do i have to do all the wiring still..

I've never heard anything about 2000 hatches being prewired for power windows... so no.

ok i understand the process of doing the conversion....so do i need a 99-00 si/ex floor harness to do this conversion...i thought i had everything but i guess i mite need the floor harness or could i use my 00 dx floor harness...

Was the DX that you pulled the floor harness have power locks and windows? I have a PW/PL floor harness for sale!

Of course you have to replace the floor harness. I don't believe there is any difference in the amount of work needed.

just curious...is there any way i can test my window reg motors to see if they work before doing the conversion....they look decent but just wondering if i can test it to see if the motors work...so how will i test it?
