Default Should i use a different ecu

Im doing a complete valve train upgrade with a port and polish, hot take, resurfaced, and 3 angel valve job. I wanna swap out the ecu for a OBD1 ECU. The engine is a b18c. I already have a 97 usdm ecu obd2 that im trying to sell. Oh the engine is a 94. I was told that i can use a p28 From a civic. If i can use a p28 would i need to do anything for the ecu swap. Oh and if i can swap the ecu then im going to send it to hondata. If im missing any more information please let me know. I have tried to researched it but i cant seem to find the answer i was looking for.

Why would you wanna run a stock p28 basemap when that ecu basemap isn't even close to your gsr engine. Stick to the gsr ecu until you are ready to tune if your only mod is the P&P.
