make sure all your bolts are out. when i changed my clutch i had to pry it off with a screw driver.

Well you can shake it as much as you want but it might hurt!
May be a dumb question but are you sure you have all the bolts out?
if so the best thing I can tell you is just try to lift up on it while you are pulling and if you can get a couple of prybars inbetween tranny and engine then try that. sometimes input shaft can get stuck in the pilot bearing and make it hard to remove but just keep trying.

I took a mallet and hit it side to side LOL, really though. Then used a screw driver to pry it the rest of the way.

give it a good stomp from above the engine bay, or use a jack and jack the tranny side up, works for me every time.

yea, make sure all the bolts are out...try hitting it with a rubber mallet and use a pry bar to pry it away from the engine.

flywheel cover off?
and like everyone said, bolts all removed? bet they arent.

and like posted, jacking up the far end will usually seperate it enough to wedge something in there, use something plastic to avoid scratching it.

All the bolts aren't out. Got the ones around the inspection plate? Got the one right above midshaft/drivers side shaft hole for the tranny that goes from the block into the tranny? NOT the tranny rear bracket bolts, look a little more "forward" right above the shaft hole.

Get the ones right around the front mount, if you have one? How about the bolt there that goes block -> tranny.
