So i just swapped out my old clutch because it was being problematic and in turn, i installed a stage 2 kevlar clutch. so everything went well, until i started hearing a think when i would turn on the car. the car would take forever to start, it would just crank, and would run very lean until it warmed up. Now i'm thinking that letting my car sit for 10 days allowed gunk to deposit itself in my fuel lines and made it hard for my fuel pump to keep up pressure. So the thunk noise from the trans and the hard starting may not be related, but its possible. Regarding the noise, is that normal for a clutch swap? like i know there is supposed to be a break in period... but the rest i'm not so sure about. anyknowledge would be great.
