If it makes any difference to you, I paid $14,500 last week for my 2004 with 84,040 miles on it and in perfect shape (not even a door-ding and no rust on the brake calipers) with a 3 month warranty. Mine is also an automatic, which brings the value up. All TSXs have a sunroof and come "loaded", the only option it the navigation system, which my car does not have. Check with KBB.com, Edmunds.com and NADA.com with your zipcode and determine if it is worth the price being asked in your area.

I forgot to mention, you can check Cars.com and AutoTrader.com for free to see if there is anything on there you want too. I found mine listed on both sites. I hope this is helpful.

Just yesterday I paid 10.5k OUT THE DOOR for my 04 with 100,000 miles. Car is MINT inside and out. One owner car, clean Carfax. Having cash brings alot of negotiating power

No navi, auto

Only downside.. (previous owner painted the calipers red... But tomorrow I'm repainting them back to silver/gunmetal)

there's a red one near me too. but it has tan interior , red/silver/light blue are super cheap here. they can be 5k lower. black on tan is also 2-3k less than black on black.

i'll just wait,

This post made me feel a bit better. A couple of weeks ago I got a black on black one, 6sp MT, with navi for 22,800 out the door from acura of escondido, and kind of thought I overpaid for one with 69,000 miles on it, but it took me forever to find a clean black on black one with navi, so just hopped on it. Not regrets whatsoever

Everyone just getting a used tsx, if you can try to extend the bumper to bumper warranty.

these cars have some serious a/c problems.

Mine just went out at 65,540 miles

compressor broke, contaminated the lines = $1,275 repair bill

Depends on where you live.. Out here in PR the cars are more expensive than in the USA.. I paid 7 month ago 18,995 for my 04 ABP TSX, Automatic non navi. It had 72k miles on it.. it drives like new!

On my insurance papers it says that the book value of the car as of Jan 08 is 23,995.

I feel kind of bad mentioning this but I just picked up a Mint 2005 A-Spec MT with 40k miles for 20,000 cad funds... so your deal doesn't sound very good to me.
