Default PIC coilovers ????

hi .. i am going to be picking up a dc integra soon and was wondering if my pic coilovers off of my crx would work on a newer honda. the only reason i want to do this is because the teg is sitting on ebay coilovers right now

sorry for asking because i know i have seen this question before but i just cant find any of those other posts

They'll fit, but the dampening rates will be incorrect. If you want to use them, I would keep them as a temp replacement until you find some made for a dc.

actually, you may have some problems witht them fitting in the front forks of the dc. you may need to use the ef forks.

Good point - I believe the early year CRX's use LCA's that accept the eye style shock, just like the ITR. However newer EF's use the regular LCA's found on DC/EG's.

only the 88 civic/crx rear LCA's are different. They are box type, like the ITR, but the "box" area is a bit narrower than the one on the ITR (or jdm EG/DC).

and you'll need to use the crx front forks on the DC to use the CRX shocks. if you have an 89+ CRX, then the rear shocks/springs will bolt right up.

cool thanks for all your help guys i will run these till i can buy ones made for the car. the part i was worried about was how the strut assembly was so much shorter then that of a dc eg chassis and my freinds said the car would be on the ground. i didnt even think about the fork or lca.. but yeah expect to see a build post from me in the next couple weeks.. h2b dc anyone
