battery or alternator problems....
headlights dim out when i was driving in the freeway. then the cluster started to dim out too. if i had the lights on it kinda lost power. but if i turned them off, it will be like normal. i wanting to know if i should change the battery first or the alternator....or could it be anything else...???please help....

when the car is running unhook the battery and see if it dies the car shoukd run off the lt just fine if it is working rite . and a good place to go is shucks or autozone they can test them all out for ya fo free let ya know what your prob is

I would do this first, then have your battery test at an autozone then check your grounds.
I had an issue exactly like this and turned out to be a bad tranny ground.

Get your batter checked at Autozone, they do it free. Unless your car dies after running a while, like the battery lost power, it should be ok.
When my cluster quit illuminating, it ended up being the dimmer switch. It was like $10 for a new one online. It's pretty easy to change, you just need a small, flat screwdriver.

this ounds more like the battery positive cable where it runs behind the motor is rubbed thropugh and grounding, and it does it only in the engines position of a light load while driving, check the cables and where they pass through brackets especially
