I have a y8 motor but the head is pretty much junk. I found a z6 head but i already have the arp head studs for a y8. I just wanted to know if you are suppose to get the head studs for the head or block you have. I would rather just find a y8 head if they arent compatible. oh and by the way, the arp head studs for a z6 have a dif part number than the y8. Thanx

ARP sells two different kits...one for the Z6 and one for the Y8, two different P/Ns. But if I remember right, you can use all but one.

 

when i think about parts difference between the z6 and y8 i check part numbers.
