yesterday i put a new axle in myself and it had a small transmission oil leak. When I got off work, my poor car (95 civic coupe ex) made it to the streetlight before it felt like something was holding it back. I pulled over and discovered that the problem "went away" after putting it in nuetral before trying to drive it normally again. HOWEVER!! Whenever i slowed down the problem came back. It felt like smthin was slowing my car down a lot. THen it began to smoke and make a sort of weird clunking noise. I put more transmission oit in it, bUT the problem persists...CAn ANy Of YOu SmaRT PeOPLE HELP my Poor lil civic oUT?? SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP. What could it BE?? ANY HELP

ummm how does it feel like its slowing down, like the brake is pressing down on your thing or what? maybe you didnt put in your axles all the way. You should go back and double check everything.

MUCHOS GRACIAS BUT I feel retarded now...one of the bolts on the caliper came off and it was hangin on by one bolt. That explains everything!! OMG MY HEADACHE WENT AWAY!! CUZ I DON"T HAV MONEY TO BE FIXN EXPENSIVE SH#T.. THNXS 4 YOUR CONCERN THO!!
