What can I use for packing a muffler
I'm making a muffler and is there anything local I can use for packing? Is there any difference between fiberglass mat for body work and motorcycle packing material?

I use the steel wool our Moms use to clean dishes. I have a local 99 cents store near me that sells 20 for 99c about 20 bucks gets me a full muffler
. Works great, sounds awesome! I have yet to get a bad reaction to the way it sounds. I was told this trick by an old school race car driver.
Cheap, convenient and works great!

exactly... see i was told by an old timer who worked on lots of types of cars.. and he told me a bunch of little efficient and cheap remedies.... this being one of them....
Im planning on making a twin loop muffler soon and i want to use wool as packing
