Default 03 Civic Si Starting problems

Tonight my car had been sitting all day, I drove about 5 minutes to a gas sation and got gas. Afterwards, my car cranked, but didn't start. I tried it twice, then I tried to call my wife. I couldn't get her, so I got back in and tried it and it started right away.

I drove home and now it's starting no problem.

I thought maybe I didn't have the clutch pedal in all or in gear or something, but I cannot get it to duplicate the crank/no start senario.

Any ideas? Should I be worried? Or am I just paraniod? Ironically I paid it off the other day and got the lean release today!

(It's an 02 Civic Si with 55,000 miles and a 5 spd)

Thanks,
Scott

Its a starting problem. Why does it matter?

Im guessing you didn't have the clutch in all the way. That or a fuse is going bad. Check under your hood if you're that paranoid. Check the big ones. Some fuses have been known to blow half-way.. so they still get some sort of power through them.

Well he may get better results from people with a similar make and model as his. Could be a common problem on those cars...

It's not a commmon problem with the model, but it could be your starter...sometimes when they are starting to go they have a bad spot and if it is at that spot it will not start right away!
