Default Oil in Spark Plug Tunnels

Well, in my stock B18B1, there is oil slowly leaking in the spark plug tunnels (i don't know the actual name) and causing the car to have a rough start, how would i drain the tunnels and then prevent the oil from doing the same thing again?

Any help is appreciated

Get a new valve cover gasket and that will come with the seals that go between your valve cover and the spark holes in the head where you install your spark plugs. As for cleaning it out I'd say try an blow it out with compressed air.Make sure u have the plugs in so u don't blow and dirt or other materials into the cylinder. Or you could try and wrap a rag around a screwdriver and soak up the oil.

I had this problem before and for oil i could not soak up with a rag; I let it go in the combustion chamber to burn. No problems.

l mike is right.. but what i usually do on my customer's cars is spray brake cleaner in there and shoot most of it out with compressed air and then let it burn out

Not at all but I would question myself 2 things-One good and one bad:
Will it lubricate the spark plug threads in head?
When removing the spark plug, will the oil get all on it and foul it?

Come to think of it I think when I had that problem before I did just let it drain into the cylinder and burn the oil up. I don't remember if i tried soaking it up with a rag or not just seemed like a good idea when I read your post last night...

Well it doesn't seem like much of it burns off, because every time I check it, its at the same level if not more....

No no no I had this problem hhappen to me. New valve cover gasket and rings. Wat he means is let the oil from inside the spark plug "tunnels" go into the engine, after it is all drained clean the sparks again put em on and let the engine on for a bit so the oil inside the engine (that drained from tunnels) burns. All youll see is smike comin out from the exhaust for abit. But not a big issue...common
