Ok so my motor is basically on it's last legs and well i'm looking to swap the motor out. i don't really have the budget for a b-series so i already decided not to go that route. most d16y8 motors i come across are more than 800 or so. i always knew about the d15b vtec swap but wasn't sure how easy it would be to swap it in my 00' ex coupe. i'm pretty sure it drops right in but from the research i have been doing it seems i'll need a new wire harness or basically a obd2 - obd1 conversion harness. if i bought that would everything be just bolt right in? i also plan on keeping my y8 manifold as well. and i heard there is an obd2 d15b vtec but it's not on hmotors. is there any other place online that sells the obd2 motor because that seems like it would drop right in and just be plug and play, if i could get that motor would it just make my life easier than getting the obd1 motor? i tried searching but couldnt find much info on a b15b vtec swap into a 00' civic ex. any help would greatly be appreciated thanks.

NO MODS NEEDED BOLTS RIGHT IN MIGHT HAVE TO CHANGE THE DIZZY PLUG AND USE THE Y8 INJECTORS IF THE MOTOR IS OBD1 THAT YOUR PUTTING IN!
