Default rear disc swap question

Ok before everyone tells me to search, I already did and have been getting mixed answers, so if someone could help me out I would appriciate it.
I have an 88 crx si that I want to do rear disc on from a 93 DA that has ABS.
I already have the non abs DA portion valve, so what I need help with is can I use the rear disc set up on the crx or do I need to find a non ABS integra? Can I use the DA ABS master cylinder and brake booster or once again do I need the non ABS unit? Also what ebrake cables do I need, I have heard stock works, or do I need the 91 crx si cables? Thanks to however helps me out.

You need to get rid of all your ABS stuffs. ABS master cylinder and booster won't work, they are bigger Your 4040 non ABS proportioning valve should be enough, you don't really need to go so extreme, but if you want that supergrip stopping power, then you can try to find a non ABS master cylinder and booster. As far as the rear disc brake conversion, you can just swap over the spindle, you don't really need to swap entire brake arm assembly like most of the people here does. Reasons for swapping just the spindle are to keep your geometry, and DA rear brake arm is about 1-2 inches longer. If you look in the back, there are four T40 bolts, and one big 22mm or 24mm that's holding the spindle onto the arm. Just make sure when you swapped those T40 bolts, put some BLUE Loctite (NOT RED Loctite, THOSE ARE PERMANENT) on there, or they will comes loose later on. As far for the parking brake cables, I used 91 CRX Si, those are guarantee perfect fitment. I've done many rear disc swapped, even on my buddy 88 CRX Si, and his cheapazz chose the DA parking cable, those will work but is super long and will be need to be looped or tied-down. It's up to you, good luck!!

The ABS booster and MC will work just fine they will bolt up the ABS booster is a 290v the back fitting on the MC will need to be cut off the car the booster and mc and then flared on to the back line of your car. It will work great. We have them on several of our CRX's and have had no issues clearly J_CRX doesn't know what he is talking about here. The non abs booster will have a tag on top that read 260v. Now you CANNOT mix ABS booster with non abs mc. It WILL NOT WORK!

The beauty of the ABS booster and MC is your pedal effort is greatly reduced. Basically before you have to move the pedal 2-3 inches to get into heavy braking now your braking is much less with greater pressure. I absolutely love mine. And there are several people on this board that have the same setup.

Also the DA rear brake arm (not even sure what that is, but I will assume that it is the rear trailing arm) is NOT and 1-2 longer. The DA trailing arm will bolt onto your stock LCA, UCA and compensator arm with no problems as shown here http://fourthgenhatch.net/reardiscswap.html You can swap the rear spindle part if you so choose but it is much bigger pain in the butt than 3 bolts, 1 e-brake cable, and 1 line per side.

On my car right now that I have been taking to instructing at road course for over 5 year now I have DA rear disc done as shown in the link above and the ABS booster and MC. No issues no problems.

The one thing I agree with J_CRX is get 90-91 CRX e-brake cables.

^^ This guy is right. Just do as he said, and let us know how it goes. Also, I would do an alignment after just to make sure the alignment is within specs.

What's this I hear on a local forum that the trailing arm bushing is different from the DA to the DC integra?

You are kinda off topic there. From my understand, and I've done tons of rear OEM HONDA trailing arm bushings at work, they are all the same reguardless Honda with that style rear trailing arm design. Meaning Civic, CRV, etc. with that style of rear trailing arm design are all the same. I might be wrong about ACURA, but I'm possitive Integra are same as well.

The DA integra is the only TA with a different OD of the rear TA bushing. it has a slightly larger (3.310" to 3.150" or something along those lines) diameter. that does make a difference, especially when dealing with junkyard parts that might need some oem parts love before being put on the car.
