Default Malfunction Indicator Lamp on Civic Si 07

The malfunction indicator lamp came on after I changed the air filter in my car. I had to disconnect a sensor (not sure which) to get the filter in and then I reconnected everything as it was. Now the malfunction indicator lamp comes and and will not go off. There is no associated error codes. I already checked the gas cap because I read this can cause the light to come on too. Anyone else experience this or know what to do? If not, I'll have to bring it to the dealer. Thanks for your help in advance.

you may have damaged your maf sensor during the filter install. but..... that should throw a code. how did you read your codes? if it wasnt a hds, then take it to the dealer.

It was the check engine light. But I think I solved it, I disconnected the positive side of the battery for 30 minutes and now the light is off. Hopefully it stays off. Thanks for your help everyone.
