Default ITR engine (pics)

my itr has a spun rod bearing... i tore it down yesterday to inspect and sure enuf #1 rod bearing is done. took the bearing cap off an theres not much bearing left. there was some really fine shavings on the bottom of the pan but nothing big. at the very bottom of the cylinder there is a spot on both sides where you can see where the rod cap was hittin the block, but its so minute its not worrying me as the motor was shut down fairly quickly, or so i was told. i have been doing some research on the LS crank swap and its seeming like a fairly decent option right now as im not too sure how healthy my crank is. im going to get some pics up in the next few mins here so u guys can help me make a decision as to what i should do. any oppinions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Justin

I would get the crank x-rayed, or eddie current inspected for cracks or flaws. I spun a bearing in my ITR block and the crank had a small crack unseen to the eye.
