CT/NY-1998 cbr 600 f3. Runs great, good condition, good price, clean title----$2500
Hey guys, I'm putting my bike up for sale and would like to get rid of it within a few weeks. I will be sticking it on craigslist in a few days if I don't get much interest here. This is my second motorcycle,
Bike is a 1998 cbr 600 f3 model, last year of the f3 and it comes in a stunning red. I personally like this color the most and you can't go wrong with it, still gets a ton of looks for a 10 year old bike. It has the original fairings to the best of my knowledge and they line up well. I believe the bike was dropped in place due to some scratches on the lower fairings, other than that its pretty clean.
Clean title in hand
31k miles on her and runs like a champ, starts up everytime like new.
Jardine RT-one exhaust
Carbon fiber mirrors and flush signals.
Tank guard.
Smoked windscreen, currently on its way in the mail.
Otherwise fairly stock bike.
The motorcycle rides extremely well and its smooth, understandable why most people say its a good starter bike for new riders. But don't get me wrong, this bike still flies and has alot of power if you aren't careful. In the last year or so, the carbs have been cleaned, oil was changed somewhat recently, newer rear tire, clutch grabs well, brakes strong and overall rides great. Bike is a turn key motorcycle.
The not so good:
-Low beam headlight is out, i will fix this for the buyer just haven't had time.
-Will need a new front tire fairly soon.
-Seat has a minor little rip in it, didn't bother me.
-Small chip in the tail section, can be seen in picture 2, not a big deal again.
Thanks for looking, my asking price is currently firm at $2500. I am located in Ridgefield CT which is a neighbor to westchester NY and Danbury CT. Not looking to ship the motorcycle at this time, i believe there are plenty of potential buyers in the tri-state. Not really looking for trades either already have 2 cars.
