When temp starts to climb the A/C stops blowing cold air..
The car will be warmed up and the temp guage is steady in the middle but after sitting around in traffic or hitting to many red lights in a row the temp guage will start to move slowly but the second it starts climbing the a/c stops blowing cold air. The air gets warm until the temp guage drops back down to being in the middle and the a/c will go back to blowing cold air. Any ideas on what might be causing this? It's not low on coolant.
The easiest way to fix this is to reproduce the problem.
Let it sit and idle in your driveway or wherever and see if one of two things happens once your car heats up: 1) your compressor turns itself off, or, 2) the condensor fan comes on and stays on while the AC is engaged.
Also, make sure your AC (R134a) coolant level has the system fully charged, that makes a big difference.

Like mentioned above, make sure your freon is charged properly, not UNDER or OVER charged. Also, make sure you condensor and radiator are clean and free of bugs. Keeping them clean will help them dicipate heat better.
