how do i remove the heater from my crx with b16 swap i dont need but what should i do to close those hoses entries on the back of the engine any help?
it doesnt matter that you got a b16. you gota take out the center console and just start unbolting it there will be a couple hidding bolts and there one 12mm nut that you gotta take off thats on the fire wall on the engine side. its way easyer if you just pull the whole dash. i always just left the holes open to get fresh air in there.

ok but what about the holes on the engine remember the hoses from the heater goes into the engine holes how do i close those holes?????? how do i block those holes on the head????
oh your talking about where the heater hoses come from the motor right? what i did was cut a small peice of the original hose and went to homedepot and got a plug that fit in there clamped the plug in and then clamed that small peice to the motor.

uh, it might just be easier to loop the hose from output to input. in fact, i think you CAN'T plug them, without causing your car to overheat in most cases. Every car i have ever done this on, i looped them. i seem to remember a thread where a guy couldn't figure out why his car was overheating, and tried a bunch of different thermostats, only to discover that his capped off heater core lines were causing the problem.

there are 2 lines going to the heater core. just remove one of the lines completely, and attach the remaining line from one coolant port to the other. The hose should form a U shape between the 2 ports.
