well i had my b16a finally put in from this performance shop in SD in my HF rex and ive driven it for like 200 miles, to let it brake in a lil bit and today i took it to like 7k and i heard vtec engage aight and everything, but one like it reached like 6500 and beyond it got REAL loud, i know they scream at high rpm but i never heard a SI dohc vtec sound like that, i mean i have a stock cat and HF muffler and stock piping with a sock over my throttle body cuz i aint got no intake yet, is that loud noise normal??? Thnx

Wait until you get a header, test pipe, and cat-back... You'll want earmuffs. A couple of "VTEC" revs next to someone though, and they'll think 2x about messin with ya ... Oh yeah, a N2o w/ purge valve also works well
