I need a mechanic ASAP to do a water pump on a d16y7
aww **** if i was closer i would do it.. But if your going to do the water pump try getting some other things to that way everything is done.. water pump, belt tensioner, timing belt etc.. So that whole area is done and you dont have to go back for anything else later down the road.. but Goodluck with ur search
Why don't you just look up a mechanics shop in the yellow pages? And get some price quotes from each of them before making a decision. If you don't have a phone book goto the yellow pages website. Might get your car running faster that way.

First take the conversation to the right section.
You might as well start prepping the car to have the engine removed. Unless your going to get an external pump you might want to go buy the part as well.

Wat?
You can absolutely do that with the motor in the car. You just have to remove the drives side motor mount and the crank pulley. Thats the hardest part.
