Default exedy stage one clutch

i rarely makes threads, but i cant find the info im looking for and im not up for blowing a few hundred dollars. i have a 98 base model prelude. i just bought a fidanza LW flywheel, and i cant decide on a clutch. would the exedy stage one organic be a good street/ occasional track day clutch? their website says the stage 2 is preferred, but i want real experience if anyone has any. thanks for the help guys.

stage one is not much different than oem...if you are planning on taken it to the track stage 2 is perfect...its not stiff at all put grabs nice...exedy is a nice choice

yeah the stage 1 is basically an oem replacement. Go with the stage 2.

The stage one is stiffer than OEM and grabs a bit better. First hand experience

I agree with Omnirage and have first hand experience. Stage 1 pedal effort is heavier than stock and grabs harder. Good compromise in street and track.

Exedy does make a OEM replacement which I would expect to match the stock clutch.
