Why do reverse lights come on sometimes when I brake on a 91 CRX SI?
I just bought the car and don't know why the reverse lights sometimes come on when I brake. Can anyone help?
I would make sure the taillights are properly grounded. If there's a bad ground, the power will find it's way to a ground by passing through another light bulb. also, make sure there is a good ground from your engine to your body. sounds wierd but trust me, it does make a diference. the negative wire from the battery should connect to the fender, then jump over to the clutch cable bracket on the tranny. sometimes when people replace that negative battery cable, they jut rum it straight to the tranny. if this is the case, just run a heavy gauge wire from the tranny to the fender.
Also check for faluty wiring in the back. I mean around the tai light area. I know that may sound stupid but just check it out.
