Default Check your own CEL lights?

I'm new to the EP3 world and the CEL light just came on, on my 02. I didn't notice a jumper like the old civics and integras have. Can you not check the CEL with a paper clip like the older models?

No, just jam a paper clip into any old socket you can find. That's always a good idea. Perhaps you can insert a staple into a wire and give yourself satnav?

Go to Autozone or Advance Auto and use their code readers like a normal human.

Thanks azn, that's exactly what I was looking for!

Are all the CEL codes the same as the older civics as well?

Exactly, it's free, you can print out the code, and then you can clear it.

It's free...except for the gas you burn up getting there, specially if no autozone near.....
