Hey Mark, don't take this the wrong way, after soooo many years of Canadian drag racing being the "Paul" show, it's nothing personal. It's just nice to see someone else win. oh, and it's not internet "talk" I've been saying the same thing since before you were out racing.

besides, I realize that sarcasm doesn't convey well over the internet, but if you look at my earlier statement you'll notice the smiley face. It's not meant to be an attack on Paul, it's called a joke

Paul still has the fastest and quickest car.

But like Maxwell said somewhere else, we're all getting more competitive. At least 3 of us can run 8s now and a 4th one might be there real soon. And I know of 2 other cars in Quebec that are also in the 8s. I think it just makes for a better show when any of the racer has a real shot at winning.

I don't think anyone is disrespecting Mister Bhawan here.

 

All i know is that Paul helped get sport compact racing in canada where it is today....and i would agree that with everbody stepping up there game now it makes for very great exciting racing and i for 1 love to see it.... i think everbody these days has a good shot at winning its that close now and not a 1 man show anymore.....and congrats to everybody not just the winners

 

its getting closer and closer sure were not as fast as the americans but we are slowly catching up, for example 2 years ago people would dream of 11's now your hitting it consistantly.

Thanks for understanding what I meant. You're absolutely right about Paul being there from the beginning. I remember Paul racing his B16 powered EF HB. The one thing Canadians could count on was that Paul would show up at every event!!

It just got kind of boring watching his car win, that's where my comment came from. It was nothing against Paul in any serious way.

Speaking of. Where have you been? Are you done racing or taking a break for now? Planning a come back?

 

As of now i got no time for racing,
unfortunatly most days i don't even have the time to go and watch,

its sad but we will see at a later date
