The gas station i went to last night apparently had bad gas because my car shuts off on the interstate almost 20 minutes later. i try to add better gas to help the car start and it did. only when three cylinders are plugged up. today, i replaced spark plugs, fuel filter, and i have completly drained the gas tank, cleaned the fuel lines and replaced the dirty gas with clean gas. here is where the story gets weird...

the car only starts when 3 cylinders are firing when i plug the 4th sparkplug up the car dies out. not to mention there are no check engine codes. On the way to park my car my work last night, the car was shooting flames. can anyone point me in the right direction.

firing order is fine. im thinking its the dizzy... all four spark plug wires are firing... but when the 4th one is plugged in, the car dies.

 

Problem solved. Picked up a working dizzy... car runs like a dream now. now im just trying to determine if bad gas caused the fk up, or was it the dizzys time to go... who knows. the we switched the dizzy out and the car runs like it used to.
