Default Freshly Painted Stock Si Wheels

Just got these painted with John Deere Tractor Paint. It supposed to be a really durable urethane.

Wheels look good, got i done for 2 hundo, I guess it pays to know people with a spray booth

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get a red Honda symbol to put on the center cap.

Because he felt like it. Maybe......JUST MAYBE.....he likes the way black wheels look on his car and decided to go ahead and paint them.

Is there a serious problem with that to you?

DEAL WITH IT!!

There's nothing wrong with what he did. And if he feels like painting his wheels or doing other **** to his car that YOU might find particularly pointless....more power to him. It's HIS car....not yours. Something being "a waste of time and money" is SUBJECTIVE.

I wish I lived near Seattle, I'd actually come to the meet and spray-paint your wheels black.

Time = 30 Seconds

Money Spent = $4.25

Knowing you wasted your time and money clowning a ****-talker = Priceless

Good lookin' out Rico.

By the way.....wheels look nice. I'm lookin to do the same thing. Except I want the actual NHBP paint that is used on my car. Kind of like what 24boosted did to his wheels.

Looks good, but you got ripped off. I could do a better job with some patience and rattle cans for a quarter of the price.

I don't know if you have curbed the wheels since you got them painted, or if the guy missed some old curb rash, but I see some around the edge of the wheel already.

No matter what anyone told you, if the process is done correctly, regular spray paint will be just as durable as that JD stuff.

Again, it looks pretty good, but I'd expect better from a "pro".

Thats one of the reasons I got them painted in the first place, I hit a couple curbs paralell parking in Philly and really messed two of them up. He was able to sand out most of the scrape.

Is anyone familiar with the GrafiXpressions website and how I can order 4 red honda symbols for the center caps? their website is kinda whack.

Thanks

Yes, and I've heard all good things about their website. I've investigated it (never purchased anything) before and it is kinda whack, but I've heard good reviews about them. You could also check ebay. I know I've seen those red decals on there before. I tried looking for you, but couldn't find it.

Looks nice, I prefer a satin finish myself. I suppose all those links I provided for powder coating for far less than you thought it was going to cost didn't work out for you.

Nah, they were asking too much to powder coat. My guy claims this stuff is just as good and can be touched up if needs be.

I'm looking at the two eibach kits that are popular (Sportline and Pro-Kit). Seeing my car with black wheels really makes me want to drop it...bad. I'm debating on the HFP kit also.

Any opinions?

If you're just looking to drop the car, I'd say go with the HFP kit and swap out the springs for more a drop, that way the car will be lowered on capable struts. I believe Type X and Blue Rocket rocked this setup, and were very pleased with it, both in an aesthetic and functional standpoint.

As for coilover kits, I'd wait and see RICO's assessment on skunk's.

$200 for that? *** that...you could have ruined your wheels for cheaper then that.

these Si wheels have to be some of the ugliest wheels i've ever seen on a honda and i didn't think they could look worse until now. I can't wait to get rid of mine...
