Mr. Jacobson. The assumptions of those NOT in the scene are totally false. Its the same idea as me thinking nostalgia cars are no longer racing, domestic drag events are no long happening. I dont follow that market, I dont know much about those cars, so is it correct for me to think that those markets are dead and dying out? No, because I'm not participating in that scene.

You can already see ignorance from those people in that thread. SC Drag racing is not made up of racers who base their lives on FNF movies. Most of us have never even seen those movies.

Check out this comment: "I hope I never see another sport compact event on TV. The power they can get out of those small engines is unbelievable. But I think a tattooed, earring wearing, "hey dude" driver, throwing his gang signs and wearing his baseball hat backwards sets a bad example for the NHRA. IMO, that whole crowd brings down drag racing."

Based on this person's comment, it clearly shows the ignorance and stupidity of that person and possibly reflects the others in that forum. Come on seriously. Who's throwing gang signs at a race event? what an idiot. LOL.

I dont know if you've ever heard of SEMA. The SEMA show in Nov, has a Racing and Performance section. If you look at the whole show, you can see that most of the aftermarket performance manufacturers consists of companies that specialize or at least do stuff for the SC market.

Sport compact dead? I dont think so.

Welcome to the forum Gary,

Seems some people have respect for others and some people don't.

That's just a fact of life.

Please hang around here long enough and you'll see some impressive cars.
