What's the best turbo for a h22 95' Accord if it can be done? How cramped will it be? Do any of you guys have a turbo'd accord if so what gen and how does it perform? thx for all input.

pleanty of 5geez w/ turbo. custom is the best way to go in my opinion. most use t3/t4. prelude kits will work if you get different pipes bent.

 

Drag makes a kit for an H22 Accord...I suggest to go custom...I just sold my custom turbo setup for my Accord...

 

I suggest you go with a TD05H-18g turbo. It is a great turbo and even though it is a little harder to find, it will outperform the Garretts.

 

i think you should get a nice fat T88

 

 

I just peiced together a kit, with a garret t3/t4, full intercooled, I love it, but it was a very tight fit, a big pain in the ***.

 

the BEST kit to get for an h22 is an F-MAX. i personally dont have it but one of my friends had it and it and he says its the best one, he tried others and they didnt work as well as this one did. so FMAX is the way to go.

 

Check the Forced Induction forum and ask those guys. They will tell you to go with the Drag kit and that the f-max kit is junk.

you can piece together piping...its really cheap...you just have to draw out the system beforehand and know what size/lengths/bends you need to buy. then get the piping and some connectors. summitracing is a good place to get stuff like that for cheap

 

f max is junk becouse of the mf2 fuel control and the small t3/to4b turbo

 

hope u get lucky turboing your h22 85% of them have a hard time making power pass 5500rpms

h22 is just a crazy motor

u got to have everything perfect to make good power
