well, i dont have the accord yet, because i have 2 cars right now...and by the end of winter next year (around march) im goin to hopefully get either an accord or civic, more towards the accord because less peeps have it, but thats a whole diff story
...performence wise, Id like to swap it first and build it a little bit, lowering the compression and everything so i can hold a turbo with out haveing to worrie about my engine blowing...i dunno what turbo system will fit an H22 in an accord, and intercooler...
thanx for the help

Re: (SmellySpoon9t3)
There are only 2 complete turbo kits out there currently available for the H22A Accord, DRAG and F-MAX.
If you can let us know how much power you plan to run, we can point you in the right direction.

umm, just to say...it would be a 94-97 accord...and i wouldnt want too much boost/power because i dont want too much turbo lag...but enough to make my money worth it, and to have a fast accord
mid 200's maybe...i dunno its hard to tell

Re: (SmellySpoon9t3)
This what I suggest:
1) Buy the car.
2) Drop in the H22. You don't really need to this cuz 200+whp can be done with the F22 or F23.
3) Compression and leakdown test.
4) Buy a complete turbo kit.
There's no need for a head gasket or any engine work with the power you plan to run.

Re: (SmellySpoon9t3)
The F22 is a SOHC engine while the H22 is DOHC. For a staright forward install, go with the DRAG gen 4 turbo kit. The kit comes complete with the following:
Turbonetics T04/T3 Turbocharger
DRAG 4 into 1 Cast Iron Turbo Exhaust Manifold
Turbonetics Deltagate Mark II Wastegate
DRAG Front Mount Intercooler (Polished Cast Aluminum End Tanks) Blitz Blow-Off Valve
DRAG Mandrel-Bent Chrome-Plated Piping
DRAG 2.5" Exhaust Down Pipe
DRAG Wastegate Dump Tube
DRAG Blue Silicone Couplers and Clamps
DRAG High Pressure/High Volume Inline Fuel Pump
DRAG Vortech Boost Dependent FMU
DRAG Intake Air Filter Assembly
Map Sensor Bypass Valves
Stainless Steel Braided Oil Feed Line w/ Fittings
Oil Return Line Assembly
All Necessary Hardware and Fittings
All Necessary Hoses and Hose Clamps
All Necessary Gaskets

OT: Ben would you have any close up pics of where the intercooler piping pokes through the engine bay at the front driver's side?

Re: (SmellySpoon9t3)
If you're only trying to attain mid 200's then yea I would say h22 + turbo is overkill. You could either just turbo the f22 or drop the h22 and do some mild mods to attain mid 200's. My opinion...

Re: (ben@importparts.com)
buy the car first before wasting mental energy. plans can always change. but there is potential in the set-up.
i used to run a 96 accord sedan with a 99 h22a4 and custom kit done by rpmnyc here in queens village, ny. turbo from majestic, revhard manifold, etc.
if i were to do anything different i would have gone with an h23a.
do not rule the h23a out when thinking about the accord. the h23a is a much cheaper motor, much easier to tune out of the box, and the torque is unreal. the h23a is a better candidate imo.
