STS does not allow R compound tires.

On your list, only the Kumho Victoracers are R compound tires.

Get some 15x7 Kosei K1s with 205/50/15 Azenis tires for a *relatively* cheap setup.

R compounds may not last as long, cost more, force you to swap tires (if you car is also your daily driver) but it's so much fun to drive on R tires. I was told, once you switch you never go back, and it's so true.

I don't know about the Yokos (I wouild guess street), but the Kumhos you listed are R tires and the Falkens are a street tire.

Sorry but the V700 are Rs too. As I posted on SCCAForums try Azenis, PP S-03s or BFGs T/A KDs. And Paradas I/II suck *** despite being made by Yokohama.

Most runs 205s. Some have 225s up front. My advice - run fornt and back the same size untik YOU know why you might want to do otherwise.

My set-up: 2001 Integra Type R, 15" SSR Competiton wheels with R-Compound Kumho Ecsta V700 tires all year long. If snow starts to fall, I rush out into the driveway and swap my stock wheels with Michelin Pilot Alpin tires, until the snow is plowed, then I swap back again. I love R compound!
