How do i get timing precise? Having trouble lining up
Hello all,
Ive recently found that why my car backfires at 3,000rpm and doesnt go any higher is becuase my timing is off. I have a B16a and I need help getting timing perfect. A diagram would be great to show me how it looks. Im keep trying to line up the carnk pulley center mark where i think is pointing directly up but are there any marks on the engine to show me. Does the crank pulley and both cam gears have to be pointed at the top at the same time? Also those arrows on the camshaft pointing toward the cam gears do i line the cam gears up with those? Im also getting the code crank position sensor, would that be on because timing is off? Thanks alot for all your help
