hey guys, i need some opinions.

i was driving today and started giving it some gas, everything is running fine, then out of nowhere my car just dies.

i pull over and try to start it again but no luck. so i start troubleshooting.

i get down to messing with the fuel pump. i put the key to the 'on' position and i dont hear my pump priming (its a walbro 255 so its pretty damn loud).

my brother comes from home and brings me my stock fuel pump and we switch it out, but it still wont prime.

what are some things i can look into?

also i had a CEL, so i hook up the scanner, but it tells me that it cant communicate with the car, so can it be that my ECU died?

edit - i have an obd1 ecu with hondata, is there any way i can test the ECU or hondata to see if it fried? thanks guys.

 

i would of said check your fuse box under the hood to see if its blown ive had that issue before

 

you were right, i checked the fuses under the hood, and it was the fuse to the very top left. i fixed it that same day but never responded.


was going through my old "help me" threads, thought id add what the fix was for people who have similiar problems and use the search button

 

what amp is the fuse?

 

i believe it was a 15a fuse
