Default gsr 50 shot dry?

I might buy a zex dry nitrous kit off my friend. I have a 95 gsr, will it need any tuning to just run a dry 50 shot? other then plugs and maby uping the timing to run a higher octane?

A 50 shot shouldn't be a problem as long as it is done right on a healthy engine.

Do a search in the forced induction section. There is quite a bit of nitrous info floating around...

the motor runs strong only 110k on it, got a act street disc, hd pp, prothane motor mounts, and fidanza flywheel, i would only use it about once a week AT MOST, probly not even that, from my searching and from what i can understand all i will need to run a small 50 shot would be to retard the the timing 2 degrees and to run colder plugs, now would i be able to run normal unleaded fuel when im not using the bottle and the use 93 octane when i run it?

i was under the impression that it is recommended to run premium in vtec engines due to higher compression, right?

The premium in WA is mostly 91 octane, which I think is where "Premium" starts. Its what I run in my GSR and it seems to do fine.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Just run premium fuel all the time. It will be nice to help prevent all that unwanted detonation when you do spray, and won't hurt anything other than your pocketbook the rest of the time.

Other than that, get some nice tires and post up some time slips!

run good gas, make sure your timing is at 0 (no advance or retard) and run it, then check your plugs. It's only recommended you change plugs on anything over 75 shot. you will be fine.
