Replacing the Fuel Pump
i did the whole process inside the car. but i don't have a softtop so i don't know if that would make too big a difference. i recommend having a lot of rags nearby so you don't get fuel in the interior.

Very big difference is you don't have a softtop. Make the job a hell of a lot easier.

i will suggest removing the schrader(?) valve on the fuel rail to remove the pressure.(do s2k's got one?) or you can remove the fuel pump fuse and run the car until it dies but then you run the risk of runin lean, even tho is only idling

i just popped out the spare, and the piece of plastic the soft top sits into and worked it out that way. took me about 45 minutes all together, really easier than what it seamed.
